How Sunshine Began

Simply put, CC founded Sunshine Wellness Care because everyone needs help sometimes. With her lived experience, education, and clinical studies, CC knows she can help those who need it.

As someone who has experienced and witnessed mental health struggles firsthand, CC understands the importance of prioritizing mental health and well-being. She also knows how difficult it can be to receive the care and professional attention needed. This is why she founded Sunshine Wellness Care.

CC earned a B.S. in Psychology from Grand Canyon University, completed an M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and became a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida with Qualified-Supervisor status. She has extensive experience working with individuals in the LGBTQIA+ community, anger management, domestic violence, substances use abuse and geriatrics.
